We work with homeowners, architects, contractors and craftspeople to create beautiful, unique spaces in the home, each built to cater for your lifestyle and practical needs.
The Process
Blend takes a collaborative, considered approach to every project. We work closely with owners to understand their needs, and to get to know each space intimately. We also consult with contractors, architects and craftsmen to gauge all the possibilities and potential elements of the project — beams, kitchens, baths, tiles, large scale furniture, antique pieces and decorative details.
Wherever we can salvage, repurpose or refurbish items from the existing structure, we do so to maintain that lived-in, time-honored feel.
Where there are new items required, we curate beautifully crafted large pieces from our network of makers, many based on the West Coast, to help freshen up and maximize the space.
Throughout the entire project, we can often be found on-site or can be quickly reached on the phone at any time to chat about your home.

Schedule a consultation
The easy part. Fill out our contact form and tell us a little about your project. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible to set up a consultation at a time that works for you.
Discover your property
We’ll meet at your property to get to know you, your lifestyle needs and the space itself. We can trade rough ideas, discuss how to maximize the space, decide which existing parts to keep and where we can add new elements.
Agree to terms
Once we’re confident that we’re a good fit, we’ll agree to terms and fees, draw up a contract and get to work.
Review the design
Before committing to the physical work, we’ll draw up a visual representation of the final project. You’ll see just how it’s going to look, and we can make any necessary adjustments.
Order goods & oversee installation
We bring the vision to life. You get the space you deserve — one that is liveable, practical, and makes you happy.

We’re based in the Boston area, but we’re happy to travel for the right project. We frequently work throughout New England, and we can often be found working on the West Coast too. The easiest way to find out if we can come to you to simply get in touch.

We prefer to work collaboratively with clients to achieve the best results. Though we’re here to share expertise and experience, we’re also here to make you feel comfortable. so we’ll always give you a major say in things. If you have any queries or concerns at any time throughout our work together, we’ll be on hand to hear them.

That’s perfect. We always look to reuse, and if required, modernize existing elements of the space. We source beautiful new pieces where required, but not simply for the sake of it.

We make use of a close network with independent makers, many of whom are West Coast based, and many of whom are based locally in the New England area. This allows us to achieve the blend of relaxed West Coast vibes and classic New England tradition that we’re known for.

We’re often on site during the project, and we can be reached on the phone at pretty much any time.

Deposit is due after a signed contract is executed. We require a minimal Deposit to get the job starter. The deposit will be applied equally to the last two payments.
Blend will bill clients in phases as the job progresses. All hours are tracked and presented to the clients in an Excel Spreadsheet and can be paid by check or direct deposit.
